Retreat. Plan. Attack.
Three simple words that have become a mantra for three generations of killers. Daniel, the son of a New York mob enforcer, learns them from his father and passes them on to his only child, Sunny. The lesson? Revenge (specifically murder) is an acceptable response to those who hurt you or do you an injustice.
When Sunny commits her first murder at age twelve, her father compliments her on a job well done, reinforcing what he has been teaching her from the time she was six years old. Since then, she has followed his instructions, making those who wrong her pay for their transgressions with their lives. Now using the name Mary-Margaret, she is thirty-nine, and on the run from Detective Lew Spinoza who has vowed to bring her to justice.
Can she stay out of his reaches and start a new life – again? Or is too late?
